Frequently Asked Questions
Modulars and J-Terms are hybrid courses at Southern that blend both on-campus and online formats.
Students will complete the course work online as well as attend a two-day on-campus experience (for Modulars) or a 1 week on-campus experience (for J-terms).
J-Terms are only held during winter or summer terms.
Yes, on-campus students are allowed to take online, modular, or J-Term courses during winter or summer terms.
Yes, students may apply for any of our terms and begin taking classes in the fall, winter, spring, or summer.
