Hoover Scholarship New England

Description

Those who are eligible for the Hoover Scholarship are (1) students enrolled in a master’s-level degree program (online or main campus), (2) from the New England region of the United States, (3) working on a missions and/or outreach project sponsored by the SBC or churches affiliated with the SBC. Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and are divided equally between Fall and Spring semesters. Award amount is calculated according to the family size, annual gross household income, and any ministry housing allowance. Award given on first-come, first-serve basis.

Qualifications

  • Completion of the College Board PROFILE by the appropriate deadline below.
    • Select “Hoover Scholarship” on the question asking which scholarship you are applying for.

  • Students must be a resident of one of the following states:
    • Connecticut
    • Maine
    • Massachusetts
    • New Hampshire
    • Rhode Island
    • Vermont
  • Students must be admitted into a degree program. Non-degree seeking students are not eligible to receive financial aid.
  • Students must maintain good academic standing for eligibility. Students on academic warning, academic probation, or disciplinary probation are not eligible to apply.
