Single Focus is for single women enrolled at Boyce College and Southern Seminary. It offers a monthly forum on areas related to life skills and ministry that are not covered in college and seminary curricula. Each forum features a one-hour lecture on the monthly topic followed by a Q&A, a panel, another lecture, or a demonstration.

Come experience the trusted ministry training provided at Southern during Preview Day on October 10, 2025.

In this event, Rob Plummer will be interviewed by Tom Schreiner regarding his latest book in Crossway's New Testament Theology Series, Living Faith: A Theology of James. Drs. Plummer and Schreiner will discuss the series as well as the topic of New Testament theology more broadly. A brief Q&A will follow the discussion.

This premiere visit experience will give prospective students extensive time with faculty and staff. We will worship together, see the campus together, and you’ll have the chance to talk with almost every office on campus – from financial aid to academic departments.

Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. The nature of the discussion is for students to get to know the professors better as well as ask questions regarding the professor’s latest research, advice on academic studies, and provide counsel for them in serving the church while they are a part of the academy.

Koinonia is designed to encourage women in the current season they find themselves in, whether that is the home, the office, or the classroom. There will be free refreshments, door prizes, time for meeting others, and a program in which faculty wives and other experienced women invest in you. All Boyce and Southern students, student wives, female staff, and faculty and staff wives are invited.

Gather with us on October 23 for Missions Matters, an evening of missions and missiological Q&A. Hear a panel of professors answer questions like, “How is it that all are commanded to obey the Great Commission, but not all called to go?”

The Pastoral Counseling Workshop is an opportunity designed for men serving in counseling ministries, providing a space for learning, networking, and retreat, held October 27-29, 2025.
